My name is Sarah, and I am an MSW that specializes in working with children, youth and young adults (aged 11 and older). I am eager to help my clients with issues such as anxiety & body image; family, relationship and social difficulties; life & work/career direction decisions; and work-related stress.

In a compassionate, non-judgemental, and collaborative space I help my clients to discover and reinforce their strengths. Drawing on my background in working with adults, children, youth, and families in a variety of settings, and acknowledging the uniqueness of every individual, I work as a team with my clients to identify and set goals using effective approaches to improve overall health and well-being.

I help my clients understand and manage stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, chronic pain, and other mental health concerns, as well as navigate challenging situations, interpersonal conflict, uncertainty, and life transitions. I draw from several therapy modalities in order to meet my clients’ individual needs. It is my aim to provide clients with a safe and comfortable space to share experiences, learn life skills, and gain confidence.

When working with children & youth, I use creative and engaging approaches to help them to understand and regulate their feelings and thoughts as well as communicate with their parents, peers, and teachers.

For parents looking for help to better support their children, we will put our minds together and find strategies that will strengthen your ability to navigate difficult experiences with your children. Knowing how busy you likely are, perhaps balancing work, parenting and other responsibilities, we might also work on strengthening your relationships and enhancing your self-care.
